Any codes, does seem like fuel filter or coil.

I tryed to scan it and the scaner wasnt reading it. I did the coil and plugs and wires before the timing belt. Ill start with the fuel and go from there.

I did that and ran the same. Just found out the scaner crap the bed so Im going to try it again when the new scaner comes in. Now I have to find out what fuel filter I have. I love my car. I want to spend less as I can because Im trying to get my dunne buggy ready for the road. If I cant find out the problem Ill take it were I had the timing done when it gets nice out. This suck because I have it the way I want it. Thanks for the help I know I can get it here. :spaten:  :spaten:

What year is the car? Early MkIV 2.0s had a problem with the ignition coil housing cracking, causing misfires. If you recently did plugs & wires, I'd say pop the coil off and check it; you have to remove the metal control unit that is mounted on top of the coil to check, because the plastic housing usually cracks underneath it.

If you didn't do plugs & wires, just order the whole shootin' match from GAP (plugs, wires & new coil); it's only about $150 + shipping.

Girls love it when you come in 3 seconds, it's very European.

I found out the problem. I need a new coil, wires and a MAF. Time to spend some money. :x I'm hoping to have it ready for the glen. :-)
