Love the idea.

i like four doors, but like jess hate the tail lights. maybe they look better in person.

I agree I love the idea and would much rather have a boosted car then an NA car with the same power. Lately I have hated all VW's on paper but they turn out to look decent in person so I will hold my judgment for later.

I think VW pretty much nailed it with this one. It's pretty much everything I've ever wanted, assuming it will be available in the US with a 6 speed manual.

I meant for the US. They're worried about the Scirocco competing with their best selling hatch? Make the Scirocco something totally different w/ AWD and more go. Wouldn't exactly call it a halo car, but I'm sure it would bring more interest to dealer rooms than the Croutan, even if that spokes lady is kinda hot.

I think they're more worried no one will buy it. The Golf, let alone the GTI isn't exactly a volume seller here as it is.

Honestly, I would trade in my car in a second on an awd scirocco, provided it has a proper transmission. The R20, maybe not. I'm still not sold on the looks.

and by that article, it looks like it will have the option of 6MT (instead of DSG only). which is a good move.

yes, all i ever wanted from vw/audi is the boosted 4, with manual, and awd. you could get tt with 2.0 and quat, but no manual, or 2.0t and manual, but no quat. Finally it's coming...just gonna be years before i can afford it though :/

And it has a manual, but I think I'd still hang on to my R32. Doubtful those seats will make it into US dealers.

I cant stand the looks of the new scirocco The r20 is growing on me though. I'll miss the sound of a VR6
